Welcome to our Boat Building team activity where each team is responsible for constructing a life-size, water-worthy vessel using only the materials that we provide. Teams design, construct and race their boats – head to head – in the ultimate Teambonders regatta.
This is a perfect team challenge for groups utilizing resorts or any properties that are located close to safe water. For those looking for an indoor alternative, Teambonders can assist your team in securing a suitable aquatic facility.
It's creative. It's engaging. And it's a water-tight winner for building team spirit and improving company team dynamics. Not to mention that it's an incredible amount of FUN!
How the Activity Works
Our Boat Building event can be customized and paired with pre-construction games and challenges to earn Teambonders BUCKS for the regatta store where participants can exchange BUCKS for items to use on their boats.
During construction teams solve problems to address design, load capacity, weight and height, floatation or buoyancy and testing. Your Teambonders host and our facilitation team will be on-hand to help encourage and guide the teams towards the finish, and the final Regatta Champion's Race!
What can you make with PVC piping, foam wrap, an air mattress and duct tape? Well, you can make a boat, but you can also make a super fun activity for your next company outing or corporate event!
There are two versions of this event. One features a total raft frame prefabricated from wood and the other is comprised of the traditional cardboard edition.
