This Bonding for a Cause™ program is the consummate philanthropic endeavour. Wheelchairs are needed by so many organizations and charities to help people with mobility issues, and your group can help.
In this activity, not only will you build a fully-functional (ready to donate) wheelchair, but you will build team spirit, communication, collaboration and camaraderie.
Your on-site Teambonders host and our facilitation team will assist your group in the safe assembly of the chairs which, upon completion, can be donated to the hospice, senior’s residence or care-giving organization of your choice.
How the Activity Works
Each team will be given a brand new, disassembled wheelchair to build. We'll supply everything needed, all tools, construction diagrams, etc., and your Teambonders host and facilitators will coach and interact with teams to encourage everyone reaches the end-goal.
Every team, regardless of their mechanical abilities will be able to take on this activity and succeed. It's a top choice for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and events where you want to bring everyone together in a feel-good atmosphere to develop team collaboration.
