Pit Crews must design, decorate and actually build a human size (5ft long), working Go-Kart. Although these do not have engines, they will be fully functional complete with a steering wheel, brake and push handles. One member of the team crew will be able to pilot it at a time and crew members will have an opportunity to race against the clock and the other Pit Crews in our Grand Prix finale. Completed cars are extremely durable and large enough to accommodate a 6ft 4" driver at about 250lbs.

Presented with detailed instructions and pictures, teams are given a complete, disassembled kit that in the end will result in one fine automobile (well, the mobile part of it anyways). Teams are divided up into Pit Crews and in the allotted time, working together, they must cohesively construct this real working Go-Kart! We provide all of the materials imaginable for the Crews from power tools to the race course itself. When all of the building is complete and using one human for power and one to steer, teams compete in the Ultimate ICIC Corporate Grand Prix which will determine once and for all, who the office champion's really are!

This is an activity with the versatility to be performed either indoors or outdoors and exciting enough for nobody to care where they are. We discuss options specifically to coincide with your corporate identity. Once we've settled what it is your team is going to copy, we choose the materials that each team will be allocated to construct the structure.

No matter what - the Pringle must survive. Using some very "low-tech" materials, teams produce some very "high tech" results. This is a fantastic indoor activity and can be developed to utilize any object you can imagine.
